Product Overview
Our 5-layer HDPE cotton wrap film with 4 embedded RFID tags per roll provides complete protection and traceability for industrial cotton bales.
The RFID tags are scanned from all machine directions, and the aluminum layer thickness reaches 20μm, ensuring stable and reliable identification.
The film’s tail end comes with a pre-sealed section, protecting the roll in harsh environments from -20°C to 6°C, resisting tearing under mechanical stress.
Each roll can wrap 24 cotton bales, with each bale weighing approximately 100kg, compatible with most cotton pickers, and machines can handle up to 5 rolls at once.
This cotton wrap film ensures high-quality bale packaging, prevents cotton “exploding” during transport, and guarantees smooth operation in mechanized processes.
Problem
Cotton bale packaging often encounters:
- Tail end adhesion issues: Conventional films fail to seal properly, causing cotton bales to scatter.
- UV degradation: Films without UV stabilization degrade, discolor, or weaken under sunlight.
- Water ingress: Incomplete edge coverage (15–20cm at top/bottom) allows rainwater to wet cotton.
- Mechanical tearing: Low tensile strength (<15–20 MPa) tears during machine wrapping.
- Flow issues: Poor film flow interrupts mechanized operations, causing jams and uneven wrapping.
Cause
The root causes include:
- Weak tail-end adhesive formulations.
- Lack of UV stabilizers in the film.
- Insufficient edge coverage (15–20cm unwrapped).
- Low tensile strength in competitor films (15–20 MPa).
- Non-flowable multilayer structure causing wrapping inefficiency.
Solution
Our 5-layer HDPE cotton wrap film with RFID addresses all issues:
- Pre-sealed tail end for secure closure.
- UV protection (6–18 months) to maintain film integrity.
- Edge coverage 15–20cm for rainwater management.
- High tensile strength ≥30 MPa surpassing competitors.
- Flowable multilayer A+B structure with self-adhesive formulation for smooth, continuous mechanized wrapping.
- Embedded RFID tags allow omnidirectional scanning and real-time inventory management.
Each roll wraps 24 cotton bales (~100kg each), ensuring zero complaints in field operations.
